Homemade Sugar Glitter

Part of the fun of baking is the array of pretty decorations that you can add to the baked good. Icing and sprinkles make the baked good irresistible. I created my own colored sugar glitter for some fun treats on the Fourth of July. I will never buy store bought sugar sprinkles again. It was so easy!

How to Make Homemade Sugar Glitter Directions:

1, Mix 1/4 cup of raw sugar with a 1/2 teaspoon of food coloring in a small bowl until the raw sugar is uniformly colored

2, Spread the mixture out in an even layer on a foil-lined baking sheet.

3, Bake in the oven for ten minutes. Allow your homemade glitter to cool before using it and then decorate!
